Historic Stephen Avenue in downtown Calgary was transformed into a mountain playground for the lunch-hour on Monday, April 19, 2010 to remind Calgarians that Sunshine Village is open until May long weekend.
Calgary's Steven Avenue was transformed into a skiers playground as top skiers and snowboarders from Sunshine Village participated in the Downtown Throw-down, a promotional event to remind people that Sunshine is open until May 21, 2010.

Imagine you’ve just spent four hours studying, and you feel completely burnt out. Now imagine sitting with 50 to 100 people, drumming one pulsing heartbeat in unison, letting the rhythm consume you and melt your stress away.
Students may find drumming relieves their stress and calms their mind. Sessions are offered on Fridays and every other Saturday for $10.
